Nyctocereus
Nyctocereus: (Berg.) Br.&R.
Thin cactus Genus that is columnar or leaning in one species and prostrate in most other species.
From Mexico and Central America.
I only have N.serpentinus because of its more erect (at least at first) form.
Most in this Genus would be good for hanging baskets.
Nyctocereus serpentinus: (Lag. & Rodr.) Br.& R. (T.) From Mexico,
up to 3 meters long and best tied to something so it wont fall and grow
decumbent. Large white flowers, fruit spiny. |
