Corryocactus

Corryocactus (Br & R.): From Peru, Bolivia and North Chile. These plants are hardy (In California) coming from higher elevations. Larger plants, more ribs and more erect than the closely related Erdisia. Colourful flowers. Fast growing needing much light. Named after T. A. Corry chief engineer of a Peruvian corporation that helped facilitate exploration of the region.
